Banking News – The Supreme Court has issued an order directing authorities to produce in court the items seized during a search of the residence of medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai, along with a written explanation regarding the reasons for the search.

Hearing a habeas corpus petition filed by Prasai’s wife, Uma Prasai, the court issued an order in the names of the respondents to submit a written response through the Office of the Attorney General within 24 hours, excluding travel time.

The court also ordered the production of the items seized from Prasai’s residence during the search. Police had conducted a search at Prasai’s house on August 20.
