Rasuwa Flood: Four Police Posts Damaged, Residents of Risk Areas Being Relocated to Safety

Banking News – Four police units have been damaged due to the flood in Rasuwa. According to Nepal Police Spokesperson Abinay Narayan Kafle, police units in Timure, Syafrubesi, Rasuwagadhi, and Mailung areas have been damaged.

According to Spokesperson Kafle, preliminary information indicates human and physical damage has occurred in settlements along rivers due to the flood. He stated that reports of bridges and other structures being swept away have also been received. However, work is underway to collect detailed information on the damage.

According to him, some police personnel from the affected police units are still unreachable. Police have informed that residents in the affected areas are being relocated to safer locations.

Considering the possibility of further damage in at-risk settlements and areas, police have maintained high alert. Spokesperson Kafle said that extensive police mobilization has been carried out in the affected areas.

Police have stated that further details of human and physical damage from the flood are being collected. According to Kafle, while preliminary reports indicate damage to four police units, information regarding the status of other units is yet to come in.
