Banking News – Ncell has announced a financial assistance of Rs 1 crore to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of those affected by the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa on Wednesday.

The flood has caused massive loss of life and property in the riverine areas of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, and Gorkha. In response to the government’s appeal, Ncell announced this assistance to support the immediate rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of the affected public.

Ncell has expressed heartfelt tribute to all those who lost their lives in this tragic incident and extended deepest condolences to the bereaved families. The company also expressed hope for the swift rescue of those missing and effective relief management.

Ncell has also been providing support to affected communities through communication services during this difficult time of disaster. Voice and data services, along with 100 SMS messages, have been made available free of charge for three days to Ncell customers in the flood-affected areas, effective from Wednesday.

This initiative is expected to help affected citizens stay in easy contact with their families, relatives, and rescue and relief teams.
