Banking News – The government has designated three locations for collecting relief materials to assist victims of the Bhote Koshi flood. According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, relief materials arriving from abroad via air will be collected at the National Emergency Warehouse at Tribhuvan International Airport. The government will then distribute the materials to affected areas as needed.
Similarly, relief materials will also be collected at the Nepali Army’s Maithili Barrack in Battar, Nuwakot, and the Nepali Army Barrack in Baireni, Dhading. The collected materials will be distributed to affected areas as required, the Authority stated.

According to the Authority, those wishing to provide relief assistance to flood victims must deliver materials to the designated government locations. Those wishing to deposit relief materials at the National Emergency Warehouse at TIA can contact Shraddha Bhatta of WFP (9841879222). Those wishing to donate at the Nepali Army’s Maithili Barrack in Battar, Nuwakot, can contact Army’s Abhiskar (9851234324), and those wishing to donate at the Baireni Barrack in Dhading can contact Dilip Ghale (9851154226). Relief assistance can also be provided through the Chief District Officers of the respective districts.
Those wishing to make financial contributions can deposit funds into the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. The Authority has stated that funds can be deposited through Himalayan Bank’s dollar account, Standard Chartered Bank Nepal, Rastriya Banijya Bank, Everest Bank, Nepal Bank Limited, Global IME Bank, Nabil Bank, and Krishi Bikash Bank, as well as through Rastriya Banijya Bank’s QR code.
