Banking News – Preparations are being made to supply electricity through alternative means in areas affected by damaged power lines caused by the flood in Nuwakot district.

According to the Balaju Distribution Center of Nepal Electricity Authority, necessary work has been completed at the Balaju Substation to charge the Balaju–Trishuli 66 kV line through the 11 kV Manmaiju feeder as an alternative to operate the damaged lines.

For load management, the entire electrical load on the Manmaiju feeder has been transferred to the Bishnumati and Thapagaun feeders, the Authority stated. After the necessary technical work is completed toward Nuwakot, electricity supply will be operated through the Balaju–Trishuli 66 kV line.
