Banking News – Twenty-seven individuals from Banke, who were in and around Rasuwa and Nuwakot for work purposes, have gone missing following the Bhote Koshi flood. According to Mahesh Kumar Gurung, Assistant Chief District Officer of Banke, those missing have appealed to the local administration for search and rescue efforts, reporting that 14 men and 13 women are unreachable.
Among the 27 missing, 20 are permanent residents of Banke, five are from other districts, and two are Indian citizens. The unreachable individuals include those working at the Rasuwa Customs Office, various security agencies, hydropower projects, businesses in the Gosainkunda area, and pilgrims on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
