Banking News – The Nepali Army has intensified rescue operations since this morning for individuals trapped inside a tunnel of a hydropower project in Rasuwa due to the flood.

Despite the challenging geography and hazardous conditions, the Army team deployed for rescue has successfully rescued two individuals from the tunnel so far. Search efforts are ongoing to determine how many more people may still be trapped inside the tunnel, with rescue operations continuing.

The Army has deployed technical equipment and specially trained teams to search for and rescue remaining individuals, despite the difficult conditions inside the tunnel.
