NIC Asia Bank Provides Rs 2 Crore 21 Lakh Assistance for Bhote Koshi Flood Victims

Banking News – NIC Asia Bank has provided assistance for those affected by the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa.

The bank has contributed Rs 2 crore under its corporate social responsibility and an additional Rs 21 lakh collected from directors and employees, totaling Rs 2 crore 21 lakh, to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for rescue and relief distribution to flood-affected victims.

Bank Chairman Ashok Kumar Agrawal and Chief Executive Officer Sujit Kumar Shakhya handed over a cheque for the amount to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle.

The bank stated that the assistance has been provided to deliver relief for the massive physical and human damage caused by the unimaginable sudden flood that struck the Bhote Koshi River on Wednesday, affecting areas including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading districts.
