Banking News – China has provided emergency relief materials and rescue equipment for Nepal. According to the Chinese Embassy, two Y-20 large cargo aircraft of the People’s Liberation Army Air Force carrying relief materials landed at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.

Four Chinese rescue experts, along with equipment required for tunnel rescue operations, also arrived in Nepal on the aircraft. The relief handover ceremony was attended by Chinese Ambassador to Nepal His Excellency Zhang Maoming, Nepal’s Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Mahavir Pun, and Federal Parliament House of Representatives member Dharma Kc. Chinese rescue experts were also welcomed on the occasion.

According to the Chinese Embassy, both cargo aircraft flew from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in China and arrived in Kathmandu after approximately three hours of flight. The two aircraft brought a total of 13,200 units of emergency relief materials weighing 50 tons to Nepal. The materials include tarpaulins, blankets, sleeping bags, dry food, and first aid supplies.
