Banking News – Sarthak Karki, Deputy Director at Nepal Rastra Bank, has published his second book “Dagger of the Mind.” The book, written with the aim of explaining complex topics of economics and the economy in simple language, is preparing to officially enter the market in approximately two weeks.
The book includes 12 essays related to economics. Author Karki has stated that various topics, ideas, and questions related to political economy and the Nepali economy have been presented in a simple and clear manner.

In the context where economics is often perceived as a subject filled with highly technical terminology and complex concepts, Karki says “Dagger of the Mind” attempts to present complex and knotty issues of political economy in an accessible and easy-to-understand style.
This is Karki’s second book. The book, with approximately 260 pages and 58,000 words, is expected to be useful for readers interested in economics, political economy, and various aspects of the Nepali economy.
The foreword of the book has been written by economist and former Chief Secretary Dr. Bimal Koirala. The book has been published by Shangrila Books. It will be available at major bookstores across the country and can also be purchased through online platforms.
