Banking News – Shangrila Development Bank has deposited Rs 70 lakh into the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund to support search, rescue, relief, long-term rehabilitation, and physical reconstruction of flood-affected citizens.

Among this, Rs 50 lakh has been contributed under the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and Rs 20 lakh has been contributed on behalf of employees. Chief Executive Officer Suyog Shrestha of Shangrila Development Bank handed over the cheque for the amount to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle. Shangrila Development Bank has been providing financial, physical, and humanitarian assistance during various disasters in the past as well.

Due to the deep trust and confidence of the general public, Shangrila Development Bank is currently providing services through 109 branch offices and 30 ATMs across the country. The bank, which has been adhering to excellent practices of institutional governance, risk management, and internal control systems, has expressed its commitment to further expand its services in the days ahead.
