Banking News – Prime Minister Balendra Shah has called a Cabinet meeting at 3 PM today. The Prime Minister’s Secretariat has stated that the meeting, called to be held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, will discuss contemporary issues along with the recent disaster and the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of affected citizens.

Following the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa on Bhadau 10, 2083, the government has been continuing search and rescue, treatment, relief distribution, and rehabilitation work in the affected areas.

It has been stated that the meeting will take necessary decisions on making rescue and relief for affected citizens more effective, mobilizing necessary resources, and accelerating rehabilitation work after the flood caused massive loss of life and property.

Prime Minister Shah has been continuously taking information about the situation in the disaster-affected areas and directing relevant agencies to make rescue and relief efforts effective.

Today’s meeting is expected to take decisions regarding additional management and relief immediately needed in the flood-affected areas.
