Banking News – In an effort to ease the supply of cooking LP gas in the Kathmandu Valley, a significant quantity of gas has entered in a single day. According to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, 162 bullets of LP gas and 50,808 cylinders entered the valley in the last 24 hours through the coordination and initiative of the ministry.

According to the ministry, supply management was prioritized to resolve the gas shortage problem seen recently. The supply system improved after continuous coordination with Nepal Oil Corporation, gas industrialists, and businesspersons under the leadership of Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Deepak Kumar Sah.

According to the daily sales details of Nepal Oil Corporation, Birgunj branch, 2,982.450 metric tons of gas was sold and transported during that period. Accordingly, 50,808 cylinders were sent to the valley alone. The ministry stated that the supply system has been made more efficient, keeping in mind the problems faced by homemakers, students, and general consumers due to gas inconvenience.
