Banking News – Nepal Telecom has brought new 2G/4G mobile sites into operation at various locations across the country in the month of Bhadau. Spokesperson Dr. Kamal Lamichhane informed that Telecom has brought new mobile sites into operation at 13 locations across 11 districts with the objective of expanding services and improving quality.

According to Telecom, new sites have been brought into operation at Lalitpur Metropolitan City-3 Office and Chyaundanda in Lalitpur under Bagmati Province. Similarly, new mobile sites have also come into operation at Mohanpur in Chitwan and Pokharidanda in Nawalpur and Madhyanepal in Lamjung under Gandaki Province.

Under Lumbini Province, new sites have been brought into operation at Dharmapani in Kapilvastu, and Rampur and Hongsi in Palpa. Similarly, under Karnali Province, mobile sites have been brought into operation at Kanakasundari in Jumla and on the Surkhet-Jumla road. Under Sudurpashchim Province, new mobile sites have also come into operation at Badimalika in Bajura, Gangkhet in Dadeldhura, and Rithachaupata in Darchula.

Nepal Telecom has stated that with the operation of new sites, mobile and data service access will expand in those areas, along with improvements in service quality. Nepal Telecom plans to gradually add new sites in locations where telecommunications service access has not reached and where service expansion is necessary.
