Banking News – Under the 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress, Ashish Giri, Free Student Union (FSU) Secretary of Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, has filed his candidacy for the position of General Convention Delegate from the open youth group under 35 years of age. Giri has filed his candidacy for the 15th General Convention to be held from Ashoj 16 to 19, 2083, prioritizing youth leadership and representation.

Giri, who has been active in student politics, undertaking an educational journey from Bajura to Kathmandu, has advanced his political journey amid various challenges and struggles. Continuing his activism and fulfilling responsibilities, he is currently in the position of FSU Secretary of Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus.

Giri has stated that youth participation and leadership are necessary in politics at a time when the country is moving forward in an important phase of change. He says that he will utilize the experience gained from student politics in the party’s organization and bring the needs and voices of Bajura’s youth to the leadership level.

Giri has stated that the love, trust, and support received from senior leaders of Bajura, regional representatives, ward presidents, friends, and well-wishers during his political journey have inspired him to move forward. Giri has expressed his commitment to work on issues of Bajura’s interests and youth, maintaining the same trust in the days ahead as well.
