Banking News – The Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has blacklisted three construction companies. Based on the recommendation of the Road Division Office Jumla, these construction businesses have been blacklisted for 2 to 3 years.
According to the Public Procurement Monitoring Office, the companies were blacklisted by initiating action proceedings as per Section 63, Sub-section (1) of the Public Procurement Act, 2063. During the blacklisting period, these companies will not be allowed to participate in any procurement and bidding (tender) process of any government or public entity.

According to the notice issued by the Office, Shankarmali Nirman Sewa Pvt. Ltd., located in Koteshwor, Kathmandu, with Dan Bahadur Karki as the main person, and Man Shahi Nirman Sewa, located in Khadachakra-01, Kalikot, with Surya Bahadur Shahi as the main person, have been blacklisted for 3 years each. Similarly, Kashyap Nirman Sewa and Suppliers Pvt. Ltd., located in Kalanki, Kathmandu, with Madhav Ghimire and Hari Prasad Ghimire as operators, has been blacklisted for 2 years.
