Banking News – Jagdamba Motors, under the Shankar Group, in collaboration with XCMG Automobile Group (XCMG), has launched the XCMG X5000e 6×4 Electric Prime Mover and XCMG X5000e 6×4 Electric Tipper in Nepal. With this, XCMG has entered Nepal’s rapidly expanding electric heavy-duty commercial vehicle sector.

Developed keeping in mind the challenging requirements of the commercial sector, the X5000e Electric Prime Mover is suitable for heavy cargo transport and long-distance transportation, while the X5000e Electric Tipper is designed for construction, mining, and other challenging off-road operations.

Both models feature electric powertrains and 6×4 drivetrains, along with features including fast charging capability, regenerative braking, and intelligent battery management systems. These technologies are intended to support effective and reliable operation of vehicles in challenging commercial conditions.

Both models of the XCMG X5000e include various facilities designed with attention to driver comfort and operational efficiency along with electric powertrain technology. These vehicles are equipped with air-suspended seats, multifunction steering, air conditioning, large instrument displays, and safety and control systems necessary for heavy-duty commercial operations.

The price of the XCMG X5000e 6×4 Electric Prime Mover has been set at Rs 2 crore 5 lakh, while the price of the XCMG X5000e 6×4 Electric Tipper has been set at Rs 2 crore 35 lakh.

With the arrival of these two models, Jagdamba Motors has expanded its commercial vehicle portfolio into the electric heavy-duty segment, presenting new electric mobility solutions for Nepal’s transportation, construction, mining, and industrial sectors.
