Banking News – Inspector General of the Armed Police Force, Narayan Datta Poudel, has directed personnel to engage ruthlessly in controlling border crimes. He gave this directive to Armed Police Force personnel working at the No. 2 Chhinnamasta Battalion Headquarters in Mahottari under Madhesh Province, as well as subordinate battalions, gulms, Border Out Posts, and security bases.

Armed Police Force Deputy Spokesperson Shailendra Thapa informed that IGP Poudel took information about ongoing work regarding border security and contemporary issues from relevant stakeholder agencies and border-adjacent local residents.

In that process, he directed commanders working in the area to further strengthen effective monitoring, control, and prevention of illegal activities in the border area, and to carry out duties with high vigilance, coordination, and responsibility.

He directed them to make timely plans for the prevention and control of illegal activities in the border area and to be effectively mobilized in controlling border crimes and revenue leakage, delivering result-oriented work.
