Banking News – Under its corporate social responsibility program, Kamana Sewa Development Bank Limited has distributed visibility jackets to 150 safari drivers at a program organized in Urlabari, Morang, in coordination with Urlabari Municipality, Area Police Office Urlabari, and Traffic Police Office, with the objective of promoting road safety.
At the program, Khimlal Bhusal, Koshi Province Head of the bank, handed over the visibility jackets to city safari drivers in the presence of Ganga Prasad Kharel, Mayor of Urlabari Municipality. The program was attended by the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Administrative Officer of Urlabari Municipality, and representatives of the Area Police Office Urlabari and Traffic Police Office.

The program was organized keeping in mind the safety and easy identification of safari drivers who are deployed on the roads of Urlabari, transporting passengers daily. The bank expects that the use of visibility jackets, especially in low-light conditions, evening hours, and situations with high traffic density, will help drivers be clearly visible on the road and contribute to minimizing the risk of potential accidents.
Kamana Sewa Development Bank has been conducting various corporate social responsibility programs in areas including road safety, financial literacy, digital awareness, education, and health, identifying the needs of the community.
