Kathmandu – Organized by Kathmandu Fintech and Fintech Alliance Nepal, the “Digital Banking Conference 2024” is scheduled to take place as a one-day event in Kathmandu. National and international experts in digital banking will address the conference, discussing key issues and opportunities in the digital transformation of the banking sector.

The conference will cover strategic approaches to digital banking transformation, considerations for implementation, potential challenges, and opportunities. Topics such as overcoming blockers, managing dependencies, and aligning strategic goals will be thoroughly discussed.

Speakers include former President and Chief Digital Officer of Kotak and director of Suryoday Small Finance Bank, Deepak Sharma; founder of Digital Fifth, Sameer Singh Jaini; founder of Decimal Tech, Lalit Mehta; and senior executives from Nepal’s financial sector.

Sajan Sharma, President of Fintech Alliance Nepal, stated that the Digital Banking Conference aims to advance Nepal’s banking sector into a new era. Sanjeev Subba, founder of Kathmandu Fintech and conference organizer, expressed that this event will help Nepalese banks explore various aspects of digital transformation, reduce operational risks, provide high-quality, fast, and convenient services to customers, and promote sustainable success.

Fintech Alliance Nepal is a network uniting various fintech institutions in the country, while Kathmandu Fintech is an organization dedicated to the transformation, training, and research of technology and management within the financial sector.
