Accusations of Document Forgery and Misinformation
According to Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) Spokesperson Hobindra Bogati, Prasai is being investigated for allegedly forging documents tied to Prime Minister Oli and disseminating misleading information.
During a press conference on Monday, Prasai claimed that the Prime Minister had invested Rs 3.2 billion in a telecom company in Cambodia and presented documents to substantiate his claims. However, the authenticity of these documents has not been verified.
The UML party and associates of Prime Minister Oli have rejected the accusations, stating that the documents are fabricated. The investigation seeks to confirm the validity of the claims and uncover any wrongdoing.
