Bhairahawa – The Nepal Bankers Association (NBA) has established its Lumbini Province Committee, appointing Arjun Kandel, Provincial Head of Nepal Bank Limited, as the Coordinator. The newly formed committee consists of one coordinator, two co-coordinators, and 17 members.

Kush Sudan Singh, Provincial Head of Prime Commercial Bank Limited, and Amit KC, Provincial Head of Nabil Bank, have been appointed as the co-coordinators. The committee aims to focus on financial literacy, social responsibility, and service-oriented initiatives, according to Co-Coordinator Singh.

The committee includes 20 provincial heads from various commercial banks operating in Lumbini Province. Coordinator Kandel stated that the committee will prioritize financial discipline, literacy, and social responsibility while also organizing programs to enhance the skills, efficiency, and knowledge of professionals in the financial sector. He added that they plan to address both opportunities and challenges within the sector through their initiatives.
