Banking News – The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has announced plans to stage a peaceful protest on Baisakh 7 (April 19) in a restricted area of Kathmandu, demanding the reinstatement of the monarchy and the release of party leaders Rabindra Mishra and Dr. Dhawal Shumsher Rana.
The announcement was made by RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden following the party’s Executive Committee meeting held today. Lingden stated that the protest will be peaceful, and declared that party members are even prepared to face mass arrest if necessary.
In addition, the RPP will organize protest assemblies in all 77 districts across the country on Baisakh 9 (April 21) to amplify their demands.
