KATHMANDU – Sanjeev Subba of Fintech Alliance has said that the rule of requiring a national identity card to avail banking services is very good. Answering the question raised in the fourth session of the ‘Second Banking National Banking Discourse 2024’, ‘Challenges of Digital Ecosystem and Cross Border Payments in Nepal’, he said that the process of requiring national identity card to avail most of the banking services is very good. I am very happy to receive this news. At present, there is no alternative to the National Identity Card. It requires a special role in digital payments.

He added, “Our data is with us. It can be protected and used positively. which supports authority, safe transactions. Nepal Rastra Bank, Director of Payment System Department Krishnaram Dhunju, Sanjeev Subba of Fintech Alliance, Chief Executive Officer of NCHL Nileshman Singh Pradhan, Diwas Kumar Sapkota, Executive Officer of PhonePe are participating.
