Kathmandu – The new government formed with the alliance of two major political parties has transferred the secretaries. KP Sharma Oli, who became the Prime Minister with the support of the Nepali Congress, made major changes in the bureaucracy within a few weeks of assuming power.
With the change in the leadership of the government, there is a trend of transferring a suitable secretary. Accordingly, Prime Minister Oli transferred 21 secretaries at once. Finance Secretary and Revenue Secretary of the Ministry of Finance are also included in the transfer list.
Madhukumar Marasini, who was currently in the role of Finance Secretary, has been replaced. Rajshwa Savich Ramprasad Ghimire has replaced him as Finance Secretary. Similarly, Industry Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire has been appointed as Revenue Secretary.
Similarly, after the transfer, Keshav Kumar Sharma has become the Secretary of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, while Gopal Prasad Sharma has become the Secretary of Energy. Similarly, Labor Employment and Social Security Secretary Ghanshyam Upadhyay has been transferred as the Secretary of the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission.
