More than 13,000 banking crime complaints in a year


Kathmandu – With the change of time, the styles of crime are also changing. Changing crime styles are currently dominated by banking crime under financial crime. In the last financial year 2080/81, more than 13,000 complaints related to banking offenses were registered.

According to the Police Headquarters, 13,263 cases of banking offenses were registered last year. In which the maximum number of 7,662 cases have been registered in Kathmandu Valley.

Similarly, in the last year, 1,178 cases of banking offenses were registered in Lumbini Province, 286 in Karnali Province, 297 in Sudurpaschim Province, 1,082 in Gandaki Province, 1,004 in Koshi Province, 1,016 in Madhesh Province and 738 in Bagmati Province.
