Kathmandu – Raju Dhungel, Managing Director of Banking Samachar, has said that the organization is committed to supporting the entire financial ecosystem rather than focusing solely on the relationship between the media and banks.

Addressing the Fourth National Banking Discourse 2026, Dhungel emphasized the importance of dialogue and collaboration among key stakeholders in Nepal’s financial sector.
“We believe that open discussions among policymakers, regulators, bankers, entrepreneurs, development partners, and experts will not only help identify challenges but also present possible solutions. This culture of dialogue and cooperation will contribute to making Nepal’s financial sector more capable, competitive, and accountable,” he said.
Dhungel stated that the National Banking Discourse, which was launched four years ago, has now established itself as an important intellectual platform for Nepal’s banking and economic sectors.
He further claimed that issues raised during previous editions of the discourse have helped shape national debates and have also influenced the policymaking process.
