Banking News — Birendra Paudel has been appointed as a director of Himalayan Bank.

The appointment was approved by the bank’s Board of Directors during its meeting held on July 1, 2026 (Ashar 17, 2083) to fill the vacant position on the board.

According to the bank, Paudel has been nominated to represent the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) on the Board of Directors of Himalayan Bank.

His appointment will come into effect from July 7, 2026 (Ashar 23, 2083).
