Banking News — Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has launched an online loan application service to make its lending process more accessible, transparent, and technology-driven.

The initiative has been introduced in line with the Government of Nepal’s recently unveiled 100-point Good Governance and Results-Oriented Performance Action Plan, while also strengthening the bank’s commitment to delivering efficient customer service.
According to the bank, the digital platform is designed to address customers’ common queries and uncertainties regarding loan procedures, required documentation, and application status by allowing them to apply for loans entirely online from the comfort of their homes.
The bank expects the new service to make the loan approval process faster, more convenient, hassle-free, and transparent.
To apply for a loan online, customers need to visit the bank’s official website and click on the “Online Loan Application” link under the Quick Access section, which redirects users to the RBB Xmart Lending Digital Loan Portal.
Users must first register on the portal by providing their email address, creating a username and password, and completing the user registration process. After registration, applicants are required to enter their personal details, including their name and contact mobile number, and proceed by following the instructions provided on the portal.
Once the application is submitted, customers will receive a confirmation notification and can monitor the progress of their application by clicking on the “Track Progress” option.
For greater convenience, the bank has also provided a QR code for easy access to the online loan application portal. Rastriya Banijya Bank has encouraged individuals, businesses, and all stakeholders to make full use of the new digital loan service.
