Banking News — A service unit of the Civil Service Hospital has officially begun operations at Singha Durbar, Nepal’s central administrative complex.

The new health service unit has been established on the ground floor of the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Federal Affairs and General Administration building and commenced operations on Friday.
According to the ministry, the facility has been launched to provide civil servants with faster and more convenient access to healthcare services, reducing the need for employees to travel to the Civil Service Hospital for routine medical care.
The ministry stated that the workplace-based health service is also intended to help manage the increasing patient load at the Civil Service Hospital while making essential healthcare more accessible to government employees.
The service unit will provide a range of basic healthcare services, including general health check-ups, blood tests, and other primary medical services, for civil servants as well as service recipients visiting the ministry.
