Laminar Opens Two More ‘Emporio’ Showrooms in Kathmandu Valley

Banking News – Nepal’s leading fully vitrified tile brand, Laminar, has opened two new Emporio dealer showrooms in the Kathmandu Valley. The new showrooms have been launched in collaboration with Super Suppliers Pvt. Ltd. in Sankhu, Shankharapur Municipality, and Bansal Tiles & Granite Hub in Jambu Danda, Gokarneshwar Municipality.

According to the company, Laminar tiles, manufactured at its factory in Bardiya, are fully vitrified tiles with low water absorption and high durability, making them suitable for homes, hotels, offices, commercial buildings, and public spaces. The showrooms offer more than 500 tile designs, including full-body, antibacterial surface, and high-gloss tiles.

The showrooms have been established primarily to serve homeowners, contractors, architects, and institutional customers. They also provide consultation services to help customers select the most suitable type of tile based on its intended use.

Abhinav Churiwal, Director of Lumbini Ceramics, said the Laminar showrooms enable customers to closely examine the tiles, assess their quality, and choose products according to their specific requirements. He added that tile selection can now be based not only on design but also on functionality.

Bhanwar Lal Bishnoi, Chairman of Super Suppliers Pvt. Ltd., said customers today look beyond design when purchasing tiles. They are increasingly concerned about durability and ease of maintenance, and the showroom helps them better understand these aspects.

Ashutosh Khetan, Managing Director of Lumbini Ceramics, said the company is distributing high-quality tiles produced in Nepal and remains committed to maintaining quality without compromise.

Similarly, Nishant Agrawal, Chairman of Bansal Tiles & Granite Hub, said customers have changed the way they choose tiles. In addition to design, they now inquire about durability, ease of maintenance, safety, and certification. He said the showroom provides an opportunity to present these features more effectively.

Laminar said it plans to further expand its Emporio showroom network across the country and make the process of selecting tiles based on their utility more systematic. The company aims to expand its network to more than 160 showrooms.
