Banking News – Samsung Nepal has officially launched the Galaxy A27 5G in the Nepali market, expanding its popular Galaxy A series with a smartphone designed to deliver premium AI features, reliable performance, enhanced security and long-term software support at an affordable price.

According to Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, Senior Director of MX Business at Samsung Nepal, the Galaxy A27 5G reflects the company’s commitment to making artificial intelligence more accessible to a wider range of users.

“We are committed to bringing AI to more Galaxy users through our latest Galaxy A series. With Awesome Intelligence at its core, the Galaxy A27 5G delivers dependable everyday performance while making advanced AI experiences more accessible. The introduction of our 24-month EMI option also makes Samsung’s latest innovations more affordable than ever,” he said.

The Galaxy A27 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering an immersive viewing experience. The device is available in Awesome Black, Light Green and Light Pink and features a slim 7.8mm profile.

Powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 octa-core processor, the smartphone is designed to provide smooth multitasking, video streaming and AI-powered application performance.

The device also introduces Samsung’s Awesome Intelligence suite, including Voice Transcription for recording lectures, meetings and conversations. It supports AI assistants such as Google Gemini and Perplexity, with deeper integration into native Galaxy applications, including the Gallery app.

On the camera front, the Galaxy A27 5G comes equipped with a 50MP OIS primary camera, 5MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 12MP front-facing camera.

Other key features include a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, Samsung Knox Vault security, IP64 dust and water resistance, and Android 16 with One UI 8.5. Samsung has also committed to providing six years of software support, enhancing the device’s long-term value.

The smartphone is available in two variants:

• 6GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at Rs. 55,999
• 8GB RAM + 512GB storage priced at Rs. 69,999

Samsung is also offering 12-month and 24-month EMI plans, with monthly installments starting from Rs. 1,519 under the 24-month financing option.

As part of the launch offer, customers can trade in their existing smartphones and receive an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 8,000, along with 120GB of complimentary Ncell data, making it easier and more affordable to upgrade to the new Galaxy A27 5G.
