Banking News – Nepal Police have arrested two individuals accused of stealing mobile phones and cash from passengers traveling on public buses near Sinamangal Airport in Kathmandu Metropolitan City–9.

The suspects have been identified as Bishal Upreti, a resident of Dhunibesi Municipality–6, Dhading, currently residing in Kathmandu’s Buspark area, and Kiran Tamang, originally from Bishunkhu Rural Municipality in Okhaldhunga, who also resides in the Buspark area of Kathmandu.

A police team deployed from the Gaushala Police Circle apprehended the two suspects following allegations of pickpocketing targeting passengers using public transportation.

Police said the suspects have been remanded to custody for five days following approval from the Kathmandu District Court and are currently under investigation on charges related to theft and robbery.
