Banking News – Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced that it will resume the nationwide sale and distribution of full-weight 14.2 kg LPG cylinders starting Wednesday, responding to supply concerns and strong consumer demand.

In a press statement issued on Tuesday, the state-owned fuel supplier confirmed that the standard 14.2 kg LPG cylinders will once again be available across the country, replacing the temporary distribution of partially filled cylinders.
According to the corporation, technical and operational challenges affecting LPG supply have gradually been resolved. It said that loading operations at various bottling plants and refineries of the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) have improved significantly, helping stabilize the supply chain.
Considering the strong public demand for full-weight 14.2 kg LPG cylinders, the corporation decided to discontinue the distribution of partially filled cylinders and restore the regular supply of fully filled cylinders through all authorized depots and distributors nationwide.
Nepal Oil Corporation has also fixed the consumer price of a full 14.2 kg LPG cylinder at NPR 2,060, effective immediately. Consumers can now purchase the cylinders at the revised price from authorized dealers across the country.
