Banking News – Inspector General of Nepal Police Dan Bahadur Karki and Inspector General of the Armed Police Force Nepal Narayan Dutta Paudel returned to Nepal on Wednesday after participating in the 5th United Nations Chiefs of Police Summit (UNCOPS) in New York.

The two police chiefs were welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport by senior officials, including Additional Inspectors General and Deputy Inspectors General from both security organizations.
The summit was held at the United Nations Headquarters on Asar 23–24 (July 7–8) and focused on strengthening cooperation between the United Nations and police organizations, the adoption of emerging technologies, international collaboration, gender responsiveness in policing, language and training, and the development of high-level professional networks.
During their stay in New York, IGP Karki and IGP Paudel also held bilateral meetings with senior officials from the United Nations and representatives of various countries to discuss matters of mutual interest and international security cooperation.
The two officials had departed for New York on Asar 21 to attend the international summit.
