Banking News – Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has provided financial assistance under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme to help complete the construction of a residential facility for visually impaired children. The support was extended to Trinetra Foundation through Kathmandu Round Table–1.

The Trinetra Foundation is constructing the residential building to provide a safe, accessible, and nurturing living environment for around 60 visually impaired children.

The new facility will include hostel accommodation, classrooms, sanitation facilities, a Braille library, a music room, and other essential residential infrastructure, creating a comprehensive learning and living environment for the children.

Previously, the foundation operated from a small rented house with limited resources. With the completion of the new building, it is expected to significantly expand its capacity to provide quality accommodation, education, and life skills training to visually impaired children.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, Praveen Raman Parajuli, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Life Insurance, said that creating a positive social impact alongside business success remains one of the company’s key priorities. He added that the company is proud to support an initiative that promotes safe housing, quality education, and greater independence for visually impaired children.
