Banking News – Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to meet officials of the Garment Association of Nepal today to discuss the current state of the country’s ready-made garment industry, its challenges, and measures to promote production, exports, and employment.

The meeting will take place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, with Garment Association of Nepal President Pashupati Dev Pandey and other senior office-bearers expected to participate.

According to Deepa Dahal, Press and Research Advisor to the Prime Minister, the discussion will focus on the current condition of Nepal’s ready-made garment industry, key challenges faced by manufacturers, strategies to boost production and exports, employment generation, and the overall development of the industrial sector.

Prime Minister Shah has been holding a series of consultations with business leaders, industry associations, and other stakeholders in recent weeks to better understand the issues affecting the private sector and gather recommendations for policy reforms.

Following these discussions, the Prime Minister has been directing the relevant government agencies to take prompt action on issues raised by the private sector and implement necessary policy improvements aimed at supporting economic growth and industrial development.
