Nepal Police Chief Returns After Attending Regional Summit on Transnational Organized Crime


Banking News – Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dan Bahadur Karki has returned to Nepal after participating in the “Regional Summit on Scam Center Compounds and Transnational Organized Crime,” held in Bangkok, Thailand, from Shrawan 4–5.

The summit was jointly organized by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Royal Thai Police, bringing together law enforcement officials to strengthen regional cooperation against organized crime.

IGP Karki was welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport by senior Nepal Police officials, including Additional Inspectors General of Police.

The conference focused on enhancing global collaboration, intelligence sharing, and cross-border coordination to combat transnational organized crime, cyber fraud, scam centers, and other cross-border criminal activities.

IGP Karki led the Nepali delegation to the summit, accompanied by Superintendent of Police (SP) Dharmaraj Bhandari, who departed for Thailand on Shrawan 3 to attend the high-level regional meeting.
