Gold Prices Rise in Nepal, Fine Gold Trades at Rs. 287,100 per Tola


Banking News – Gold prices edged higher in Nepal’s local bullion market on Sunday, with both gold and silver recording gains compared to the previous trading session.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold increased by Rs. 1,600 per tola, reaching Rs. 287,100 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver rose by Rs. 60 per tola to Rs. 4,410 per tola.

On Friday, fine gold had been traded at Rs. 285,500 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs. 4,350 per tola.

Earlier, on Thursday, fine gold was traded at Rs. 291,300 per tola, while silver stood at Rs. 4,505 per tola.

According to international market reports, gold was trading at around US$4,052 per ounce, while silver was quoted at approximately US$58 per ounce in the global market.
