Kathmandu – Roshan Regmi, Chief Retail Officer of NMB Bank Limited, will participate as a speaker at the Global Fintech Fest 2024. Representing Nepal’s banking sector, Regmi will speak at the festival, which will be held in Mumbai, India, from August 28 to 30.

Regmi is an expert in retail and mass banking, financial literacy, inclusion and onboarding, remittances, cross-border payments, digital and alternative distribution channel payments, digital lending, capital market systems, project management, cyber security, and more.

Global Fintech Fest is an annual fintech conference organized by the Payments Council of India (PCI), the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), and the Fintech Convergence Council (FCC). This is the fifth edition of the conference, which began in 2022. It is the world’s largest fintech conference and is regarded as the most prominent thought leadership platform in the fintech industry.

The conference features fintech product showcases, investment pitches, workshops, thought leadership reports, academic papers, and hackathons, along with hundreds of sessions, including keynotes, panel discussions, and fireside chats. In addition, the event also includes the Global FinTech Awards.
