Locals Protest Against Prime Minister and Home Minister Over Death of 15-Year-Old in Siraha


Banking News – Local residents in Aurahi Rural Municipality-2, Tulasiyahi, Siraha, staged a protest against Prime Minister Balendra Shah and Home Minister Sudan Gurung over the death of 15-year-old Ganesh Yadav.

Ganesh Yadav was fatally shot during a protest held in Golbazar, Siraha, on Thursday in connection with the unrest that followed the Sunsari incident.

The demonstration was organized after reports emerged that Home Minister Gurung was preparing to visit the victim’s family and local residents. Protesters gathered at Baniniya Chowk, warning that the Home Minister would not be allowed to enter the village until justice is delivered for the deceased teenager.

Carrying placards and chanting slogans against the government, the demonstrators demanded a fair and impartial investigation, legal action against those responsible, and justice and appropriate support for the victim’s family.

Claiming that the teenager was killed by police gunfire, local residents expressed strong anger over the incident. Security has been tightened in the area as public concern over the case continues to grow among local communities and political stakeholders.

Authorities have not yet publicly confirmed the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting, and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
