Banking News – Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited (SALICO), under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, has distributed educational materials to students of the Blind Women’s Association Nepal in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers.

The CSR program, held on August 2, 2026 (Shrawan 17, 2083), was organized to support education and social empowerment. The event was attended by the company’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Barishma Saud Acharya, along with representatives of the Blind Women’s Association Nepal, Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers, and participating students.

During the program, the educational materials were handed over directly to visually impaired students to support their academic journey.

Speaking at the event, Deputy CEO Barishma Saud Acharya emphasized that education is a key foundation for social transformation. She said Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance has consistently contributed to education, healthcare, and community development through its CSR initiatives and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continuing such social responsibility programs in the future.
