Banking News – Nepal Police have arrested seven individuals for allegedly stealing petroleum products from fuel tankers and selling them illegally in Birgunj, Parsa.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Sunain Miya (owner of a petrol pump), Aslam Hawari (accounts staff), Rafiq Miya (cashier), Sandesh Rana Magar, Keshar Ram Sunar, Mand Singh Lama, and Umesh Rana Magar.

According to police, the suspects were involved in illegally extracting fuel from petroleum tankers that had entered Nepal through the Integrated Check Post (ICP) on the Bypass Road in Birgunj Metropolitan City-14 after customs clearance.
Police said the group was caught red-handed at Saudagar Oil Center while allegedly lifting the tanker’s official seal using an iron pipe hook and siphoning petroleum products without authorization.
Authorities have taken all seven suspects into custody, and further investigation is underway to determine the extent of the alleged fuel theft and illegal distribution network.
