Banking News – Ncell has revised the pulse rate for international outgoing calls to 198 destination countries, introducing a new 60-second pulse rate effective from Tuesday.
According to the company, the new pulse rate has been implemented following approval from the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) on Shrawan 22. The approval was granted under Section 42 of the Telecommunications Act, 2053.

The new 60-second pulse rate applies to international calls to countries including Australia, Bahrain, Canada, the United States, China, Finland, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Lebanon, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Qatar, Russia, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Mexico and Libya, among others.
Ncell said customers can view the complete list of countries covered by the new pulse rate, along with international call and SMS charges, under the “International Call & SMS Rate” section on the company’s website.
The revision is aimed at providing a standardized 60-second pulse rate for international outgoing calls across the specified destinations.
