Banking News – Excel Development Bank Limited has announced vacancies for multiple positions, seeking qualified candidates for various roles across the bank.

The bank is hiring for Head–Finance (1), Risk Officer (1), Branch Manager (10), Legal Officer (1), Software Developer (1), Semi-Qualified CA (2), Relationship Manager (several), Security Officer (1), Gold Tester (3), and Trainee Assistant (several) positions.

Qualifications Required

For the Head–Finance position, applicants must have at least six years of experience in internal audit or accounting in banks and financial institutions, including at least two years of experience as Head–Finance or in internal audit at a bank or financial institution.

Candidates must have completed a master’s degree in management or economics with at least 50 percent or equivalent marks from a recognized university. Chartered Accountants (CA) and Semi-Chartered Accountants will be given preference.

For the Risk Officer position, applicants must have at least five years of experience in the credit risk or credit department of a bank or financial institution and hold a bachelor’s degree in management or accounting from a recognized university or institution. CA and Semi-CA candidates will receive preference.

For Branch Manager, candidates must have at least five years of work experience in a commercial bank or national-level development bank, including at least one year of experience as a branch head. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in management or economics with at least 50 percent or equivalent marks from a recognized university.

For the Legal Officer position, preference will be given to candidates with experience working in banks and financial institutions.

Applicants for the Software Developer position must have at least three years of experience in a bank or financial institution, including at least one year of experience in software development. Candidates must also hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science from a recognized university.

For the Semi-Qualified CA position, candidates must have work experience in a bank or financial institution, with additional preference given to those with banking-sector experience.

For the Relationship Manager position, applicants must have at least three years of experience in a bank or financial institution, including at least one year of experience in credit or market management. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in management or economics from a recognized university.

For the Security Officer position, candidates who have retired from the Nepal Police or Armed Police Force at the level of Police Naib Inspector or Inspector can apply. Applicants must have at least five years of experience in security management, intelligence-related work and CCTV surveillance.

For the Gold Tester position, applicants must have passed at least SLC or SEE. Preference will be given to candidates holding a professional training certificate in gold valuation or testing. Candidates must also have at least two years of experience working as a gold tester in a bank, financial institution or gold-related business.

For the Trainee Assistant position, applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree in management or computer science with at least 50 percent or equivalent marks from a recognized university.
