The event, organized by the Indian People’s Forum (IPF), brought together prominent leaders and members of the India-UAE community to celebrate India’s Independence Day and highlight the strong ties between the two countries.

The event was attended by HE Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade; HE Dr. Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to the UAE; HE Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Consul General of India in Dubai; Bollywood actor and entrepreneur Suniel V. Shetty; Buimerc Chairman and PBD Awardee Siddharth Balachandran; Nikai Chairman Paras Shahdadpuri; and IPF President Jitendra Vaidya, among other distinguished guests.

Bharadwaj also had the honour of leading two pledges on behalf of the Indian diaspora during the celebration.

One pledge expressed allegiance to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, described as the leader of their Karmabhoomi, while the second expressed support for the Viksit Bharat and Saptha Dhara vision of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, described as the leader of their Janmabhoomi.

The celebration highlighted the enduring friendship between India and the UAE and the important role played by the Indian diaspora in strengthening relations between the two countries.

Bharadwaj said the occasion was a meaningful reminder that leadership extends beyond business and involves bringing people together, building communities and contributing meaningfully to the societies they call home.

As a leader at Trescon, Bharadwaj continues to be involved in initiatives that bring together business communities and contribute to broader social and community development.
