Land Ownership Certificates Distributed to 310 Families in Dhanusha After 10 Years

Banking News – Dhanusha: A total of 310 families in Mithila Bihari Municipality-3 of Dhanusha have received land ownership certificates (Lalpurja) nearly 10 years after the completion of land surveying.

The Dhanusha Survey Office distributed the land ownership certificates to 310 families of Mithila Bihari Municipality-3 after completing the necessary procedures for registering the surveyed land.

The survey of Swabasi land located in the former Mithileshwar Mahuwahi Ward Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 was completed during fiscal year 2072/73 BS.

Although the surveying process had been completed, the distribution of ownership certificates was delayed for years due to low public participation required for land registration.

According to the Dhanusha Survey Office, the necessary procedures were completed for land that had previously been surveyed and mapped by the concerned commission, resulting in the distribution of 310 land ownership certificates.

With the issuance of the certificates, the families who had been living on the land as Swabasi residents for a long period have now formally obtained legal ownership of their respective properties.
