Banking News – Search and rescue operations are ongoing to ascertain the condition of employees of the Rasuwagadhi Customs Office following the flood in Rasuwa. Out of the 36 permanent staff positions at the Rasuwa Customs Office, 25 employees, including Chief Customs Administrator Rajendra Dhungana, have been contacted.
The condition of the remaining 11 permanent employees is still unknown. Similarly, out of 4 contract and daily-wage employees working at the office, only 1 has been contacted. The search is also ongoing for the remaining 3 contract and daily-wage employees.

The office has informed that coordination with relevant agencies is underway for the search and rescue of employees who went missing after the flood. Search efforts have been intensified to locate the 14 employees – 11 permanent and 3 contract/daily-wage – who have not been contacted so far. Although the situation at the incident site poses challenges to rescue and search operations, efforts are continuing in coordination with security personnel and relevant agencies.
