Banking News – Seven individuals injured in the devastating flood that struck Rasuwa on Wednesday have been brought to Kathmandu via helicopter for treatment. Among the injured, four have been admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj, and three have been admitted to the National Trauma Center, where treatment has begun.

According to Dr. Gopal Sedhai, Spokesperson of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, all four injured admitted to the hospital are receiving treatment. He informed that some of the injured are in critical condition and the hospital has activated its disaster code for treatment.

“We are fully prepared for treatment. The hospital’s disaster code has been activated. ICU, ventilators, and necessary beds have been kept ready,” said Dr. Sedhai. He also informed that the helipad has been kept on standby in case additional injured individuals need to be brought in.

Similarly, three injured have been admitted to the National Trauma Center. According to Dr. Rudra Marasini, Medical Superintendent of the Trauma Center, the injured include two men and one woman, all residents of Nuwakot.

Dr. Marasini stated that the injured have sustained injuries to their stomach, hands, and waist. They are being treated in the emergency ward. The Trauma Center has stated that their health condition is being assessed under the supervision of physicians and necessary treatment is ongoing.

The flood in Rasuwa has caused massive loss of life and property, while rescue, search, and relief operations are continuing.
