Banking News – The Armed Police Force has deployed approximately 1,350 personnel for search and rescue operations at the disaster site. According to Netra Bahadur Karki, Spokesperson of the Armed Police Force, 73 individuals have been safely rescued so far, with approximately half of them injured.

According to Spokesperson Karki, specially trained teams have been deployed at the site to make rescue operations more effective. The rescue team includes the Collapsed Structure Search and Rescue (CSSR) team, which specializes in searching for and rescuing individuals trapped inside collapsed or hazardous structures. This team is equipped to reach victims by demolishing structures, creating openings, and using other techniques as needed, Karki stated.

Similarly, a dog squad with three dogs and a drone squad with five drones have been deployed for rescue operations. Additionally, two teams with specialized medical doctors have been mobilized since Wednesday, Karki informed. He also stated that 13 Armed Police Force personnel remain unreachable.
